    Miranda Bogen

    iranda Bogen is the founding Director of CDT’s AI Governance Lab, where she works to develop and promote adoption of robust, technically-informed solutions for the effective regulation and governance of AI systems. An AI policy expert and responsible AI practitioner, Miranda has led advocacy and applied work around AI accountability across both industry and civil society. She most recently guided strategy and implementation of responsible AI practices at Meta, including driving large-scale efforts to measure and mitigate bias in AI-powered products and building out company-wide governance practices.

  • Sabhanaz Rashid Diya

    Executive Director, Tech Global Institute
    Sabhanaz Rashid Diya

    Sabhanaz Rashid Diya is the executive director of Tech Global Institute, a tech policy nonprofit for advancing equity and rights of Global Majority communities on the internet. Previously, she was the head of public policy at Meta. Diya brings two decades of experience at the intersection of technology policy, international relations and human rights. She is a senior fellow at Centre of International Governance Innovation and a visiting fellow at the Oxford Internet Institute at University of Oxford.

    Lindsay Gorman

    Lindsay Gorman is Managing Director & Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund’s Technology Program. She focuses on US-China technology competition including AI policy, quantum information, cybersecurity, transatlantic information, and democratic responses to autocratic technology interference. She advised on technology initiatives and national security strategy in the Biden White House and is a Council on Foreign Relations and Truman National Security Project member.

    Dr. Sam Gregory

    Dr. Sam Gregory is a human rights advocate and technologist, and Executive Director of WITNESS. He leads global efforts empowering millions to utilize video and technology for human rights, proactively focused on shaping an AI-mediated information ecosystem and combating deceptive AI. As an expert on synthetic media and deepfakes, he has testified to the US House and Senate and delivered a TED talk.

  • Samson Itodo

    Executive Director, Yiaga Africa
    Samson Itodo

    Samson Itodo is the Executive Director of Yiaga Africa and a prominent voice on democracy, elections, and civic participation in Africa. He led the groundbreaking #NotTooYoungToRun campaign, which successfully reduced the minimum age for elective office in Nigeria and inspired similar youth-led reforms globally. He serves on the boards of International IDEA and the Kofi Annan Foundation, and is a member of the African Union Advisory Group on AI in Peace, Security, and Governance, where he leads work on developing continental guidelines for AI use in elections. He is also engaged in global initiatives focused on building AI governance frameworks for electoral integrity.

    Claire Leibowicz

    Claire Leibowicz is the Head of the AI and Media Integrity Program at the nonprofit Partnership on AI, where she develops resources for responsible AI that are implemented across technology, journalism, civil society, and policy. She launched PAI’s Synthetic Media Framework with OpenAI, Bumble, TikTok, and 15 other organizations and has advised governments and companies on AI policy and digital media.

Previously, Jean-Rémi advised and represented States before international courts and tribunals.

    Benjamin Prud'homme is Vice-President of Policy and Global Affairs at Mila - Quebec AI Institute. He is an expert for OECD.AI and UNESCO's AI Ethics Without Borders. He is involved in the International AI Safety Report and co-lead the GPAI project "Towards Real Diversity and Gender Equality in AI". Benjamin is a lawyer and former advisor to Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs.

    Nanjira Sambuli

    Nanjira Sambuli is a researcher, policy analyst and strategist studying the unfolding, gendered impacts of digitalization/ICT adoption on governance, diplomacy, media, entrepreneurship, and culture, especially in Africa. Nanjira is a nonresident scholar (and previously a fellow) in the Technology and International Affairs Program at The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and a Ford Global Fellow. She also sits on several advisory boards.

  • Audrey Tang

    Cyber Ambassador, Government of Taiwan
    Audrey Tang

    Audrey Tang, a TIME100 “Most Influential People in AI” honoree (2023), is Taiwan's Cyber Ambassador and served as Taiwan's 1st digital minister and the world's 1st nonbinary cabinet minister (2016-2024). Tang played a crucial role in shaping g0v (gov-zero), one of the most prominent civic tech movements worldwide. In 2014, she helped broadcast the demands of Sunflower Movement activists and worked to resolve conflicts during a three-week occupation of Taiwan's Legislature.

    Betty Epsilon Idroos

    Ms. Idroos serves as the Commissioner of the General Elections Commission (KPU) of Indonesia for the 2022–2027 term and Head of the Division of Data and Information. She is a graduate of IPB and the University of Indonesia and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at IPDN. With extensive electoral experience, Ms. Idroos is really committed to inclusive and transparent elections.

    Marjan Hussein Marjan

    Marjan is currently the Commission Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of Kenya with over 30 years’ experience in election management, public sector policy, corporate governance, strategic management, accounting, auditing and risk management. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting from the University of Nairobi.

    Volodymyr Perepeliuk

    Mr. Perepeliuk is an Honored Lawyer of Ukraine and the Commissioner of the Central Election Commission of Ukraine. Prior to joining the CEC, he held a variety of judicial positions, including as a Consultant to the Administrative Court of Cassation (within the Supreme Court). He served the CEC since October of 2019.

  • Dr. Hsaio-Lin Wang

    Dr. Hsaio-Lin Wang

    Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from National Chengchi University. He currently serves as Director General of the Election Affairs Department at the Central Election Commission, Taiwan, where he has accumulated extensive experience through years of dedicated engagement in election administration. Previously, he held the positions of Section Chief and Deputy Director within the same department. Dr. Wang also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National Open University.
